A retelling of the classic story of Romeo and Juliet. This one is a bit eccentric, which makes it more fun to watch. It features a young Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio. The supporting cast really makes the movie, with colorful and lively performances. It also had a very popular soundtrack as well. This is a good movie to watch when you want something familiar that still has the ability to surprise and delight you.
I know, the title says it all right? This is a movie about a group of 4 friends that are all quite different in many ways, who all happen to all be able to wear the same pair of jeans. When summer rolls around, they are separated by circumstances and vow to write to each other about their adventures while wearing said jeans. There are funny moments, and moments of real pain, as well as growing up moments to boot. Good movie for a day where you don’t have anything in particular to do, and nothing particular in mind to watch.
This is a heartwarming coming of age story of a young girl, and the issues she faces when growing up. Its also a reason to remember that Macaulay Culkin used to be the ruler of the silver screen. Its also a movie about dealing with life’s changes. So if you are struggling with what life is throwing at you, this might be a good comfort movie to throw on.
A Sci-fi movie set in the not too distant future. In this world, everyone is classified as a belonging to a particular group. This is how order is maintained and work is split up, unless you are divergent. If you ever felt that you were different, because you were truly meant to save the world, or be a hero, or just be bad ass, then you will be able to relate to this movie. This movie also follows in the popular tradition of letting the female lead participate in fight scenes where she is allowed to kick ass, and not rescued.
